I went out to an Italian restaurant I hadn’t been to since before the lockdown. Had a well made Negroni for an appetizer and a nice C hianti with the entree. Relaxing with at home with some Burt Bacharach, a cigarette, and a gin and tonic. Pleasant  evening, all things considered.

Wife and I shared a couple large timmys cups filled with captain private stock, Malibu coconut, parrot bay pineapple, orange juice and pineapple juice mixed in equal proportions.  Yummy.

Just a standard macro-brew tonight for me. Unfortunately my liquor cabinet is almost empty. I’m down to less than a 1/4 bottle of rum, some cheap brandy I bought to make a punch at Christmas, and one bottle of scotch.

I really want a gin and tonic or a Clamato Bloody Mary.

I’ll have a Tuesday off in July before I go on call. I’m planning to go to a discount liquor store the state runs then to replenish my cabinet at least somewhat.
